In today’s digital world, security is a paramount concern for all businesses. Security threats can come from various sources and can have severe consequences if not handled properly. Our client, one of the largest e-commerce platforms in Latin America, is no exception. With a presence in several countries, including Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Chile, the company faces a range of unique challenges in terms of security. To ensure the safety of its employees, customers, and assets, our client needed an effective solution that could monitor and ensure compliance with safety regulations at all its sites.
The challenge was twofold. On the one hand, our client needed a solution that could record security measure breaches in real time. On the other hand, the solution had to be flexible enough to adapt to the specific safety regulations of each country. Additionally, the solution had to be capable of handling the large amount of data generated by the more than 5,000 security cameras installed in their warehouses, which were distributed.
To address these challenges, UNX Digital proposed a computer vision solution. This solution uses machine learning algorithms to analyze security camera images in real time and detect any breach of safety measures. The solution also generates metrics that record these breaches and other scenarios in the form of reports. These reports, powered by the strength of business intelligence and big data, provide the client with the necessary detail on security matters to continuously learn and improve.
The implementation of our computer vision solution had a significant impact on the client’s security. The company can now monitor safety protocol compliance in real time, which has improved security at all sites. Additionally, the ability to take quick corrective actions in case of any detected breach has reduced the risk of security incidents. In quantitative terms, the solution has allowed for a significant reduction in security breaches.
